In this guide we describe how to install and activate Avast on your computer. If you need help, contact our customer service for help with downloading, installing, and activating.
Step 1 #
Download Avast Premium Security from the Avast website at the link below.
Step 2 #
Open the downloaded installation file “avast_premium_security_setup_online.exe“.
Step 3 #
Click Install to install with default options.
Step 4 #
Select Custom installation to select the location of the program files and select program components and language on the following screen.
Step 5 #
The installation progress bar will appear while the program is installing. Once the installation is complete, you can activate your subscription by clicking “I have already purchased a subscription” and then entering your product key.
Step 6 #
When a network is detected, select a firewall mode.
- Select “Public” if you are connected to a public or shared network.
- Select “Private” if your computer is connected to a home or private network.
Step 7 #
Avast Premium Security is now installed on your computer and ready to use.
